Issey Miyake showed at the Le Carrousel du Louvre – Salle Le Nôtre* on October 2nd of this year and we should all be excited.
The first time I ever heard the name Issey Miyake I was selling men’s fragrance, and then I discovered that he has his own crazy world of fashion and expression.
Every chance we get to see his work we have another chance to marvel at this his off-kilter point of view, his bent towards technology, and the crisp lines that influence creates.
I know not everyone can travel to France to see a fashion show, but what a joy it would be to see his work in person!

The “Fringe” style is something that has been around for a while, but it can always be used to your advantage. In the summer the “Fringe” is just cut short, so you don’t get a lot of…fringe.

FDCI has partnered with Van Heusen to launch Men’s Fashion Week in New Delhi, India on September 11-13. I know, I know. Most of us aren’t traveling to India anytime soon, but this is a big step because we’re all going to have more choices when more designers are given exposure.

A men’s brooch. I know, when you think brooch you think of the one your Grandmother willed to your Mother and your sisters are already fighting over who’s going to get it. No, not that kind.
