Men of the 2008 Olympic Games

The Olympics are a time for us to marvel. Many people tune in, excited to watch some of the best athletes in the world compete against each other to truly decide who is the best. These athletes in the various Olympic sports are truly one in a million. They are the best at what they do, and look damn good doing it. These athletes are sculpted, handsome, charming, and radiate confidence throughout their sport. Its hard not to notice their enthusiasm, their personalities, and there physical gifts. Without further delay, here are 5 of the sexiest men competing at the 2008 Olympics in Bejing.

Andrew Campbell: This sexy 24 year old competes in one of the most interesting sports in the Olympics, sailing. The 6’ stud native of San Diego was named the 2007 U.S. Sportsman’s Sailor of the year. Campbell is a regular All-American Jock. He graduated from Georgetown University, with a degree in comparative studies. His honors included being team captain, 3 time team MVP, 4 time college All-American, and the Collegiate Sailor of the year in 2006. Andrew comes from a family of sailors, as his father was also a 4 time All-American, winning the 1992 America’s cup. His parents even met through sailing. Its safe to say this sexy sailor has a thing for the seas.

Peter Varellas: This sculpted beauty heads the U.S.A. water polo team. Checking in at 6’3’’ 192 lbs, this Moraga, California native was the ultimate jock in high school and college. A baseball and basketball player at first, Varellas focused his athletic attention on water polo in high school after his father, Larry, encouraged him to try it. At Stanford, he was a standout on the Cardinal's water polo team that made the NCAA championship match all four of his collegiate years. His freshman year was the only one that ended happily, with a 14-6 win over Cal. Not only is he athletic, but smart. Peter graduated Stanford with a degree in management and engineering. Peter is one of 4 Stanford graduates on this year’s USA Olympic team, looking for a strong showing at the games, led by this hard throwing lefty. Scoring goals is effortless for Peter, as is looking great.

Sean Rosenthal: Olympic volleyball players are marvelous to watch, and no one best represents the physical talents of these athletes like Sean Rosenthal, a 28 year old Redondo Beach native. Sean grew up playing beach volleyball in high school, making his AVP pro tour debut at the tender age of 16. Raised by a single mom, Sean developed strong independent values. Sean and partner Jake Gibb represent a strong hope for the USA to capture the gold medal in this year’s games. With his ripped abs, beach boy tan, and competitive fire, Sean is definitely one to keep an eye on in this summer.

Demetrius Andrade: Demetrius represents a young bright spot for the USA in the boxing field in this year’s Olympic games. The young 20 year old was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and was taught everything he knows by his father. The long, lean Andrade goes 6’1’’ 152 lbs, and is also a football fanatic. Keeping in pristine shape year around, Demetrius eats a high protein diet, runs daily, and does hundreds of situps nightly to keep those ripped abs. His young daughter, Autumn, serves as a huge inspiration to him. His big boxing highlight to date has been a victory over Dmitrii Ivanov, in the USA vs. Russia Duel. He hopes to keep his momentum going in the Olympics, as a strong medal candidate. Its safe to say, this young fighter has a bright future in front of the cameras.

Christian Vande Velde: There’s no denying Christian Vande Velde’s sex appeal. He checks in at a lean 5’11’ 150 lbs, and maintains a boyish face and killer smile. This 32 year old USA Olympic cyclist lists Lance Armstrong as one of his role models. He was a key contributor to two of Armstrong's seven victories as a member of the U.S. Postal Service squad in 1999 and 2001. Christian comes from a cycling His father John, a 1994 inductee of the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame, competed in the team pursuit at the 1968 Olympic games in Mexico City. Christian currently lives and trains in Boulder, CO, as the altitude there helps with his wind. He represents a strong medal candidate in the road cycling event in this year’s games.
